The Pall Mall Gazette, commenting on Germany's racp for Dreadnangbts, states that Krupp's works at Essen have ten pits for the trial of heavy gunmountings, enabling them to construct gun-mountings suflicienfc for six Dreadnoughts annually. Krupp's are adding eight further pits, enabling them to fit eleven Dreadnoughts. The British Government, the Gazette adds, is unaware of the extent of tho additions to Krupp's plant.
