fBT TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, This Day. A meeting of the local police last evening agreed to ask permission of the commissioner to have a conference in Wellington to consider the proposed amendments to the Provident Fund.
In connection with the scholars' Scripture examination to be conducted by the Sunday School Union in July next, the following have consented to act as examiners :— Mr. T. H. Gill, M.A.,LL.8., Mr. W. Gray, M.A., Misses Helyerand C. E. Kirk, and Mrs. G. JV. Daryall.
