ALLEGED FURIOUS RIDING.
CYCLISTS PROSECUTED. £BT TELEGRAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.} CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. John Tozer, Gilbert MacGloin, and Harry Calle'tly, who finished first, second, and third respectively in the fifty miles cycle road race from Riverton to Leeston on 12th December, were prosecuted for furious riding, the Magistrate reserving judgment, which was delivered to-day. Mr. Bishop, S.M., said lie had carefully considered the matter, and was of opinion that the facts as stated did not constitute an offence under that section of the Police Offences Act relied on by the informations laid, and dismissqfi the case.
