After attending an investiture at Buckingham Palace, King Edward returned to Brighton, acting upon the advice of his surgeon, Sir F. H. Laking, ayid in, deference t|> the washes of Queen Alexandra. He did this to re-establish his strength thoroughly, and to enable him to pay a visit to Lord Burton. It is reported that his Majesty looks I pale, but walks with his usual energy.
