LODGE MEETINGS.
The half-yearly meeting of the Excelsior Lodge, U.A.0.D., was held in the Druid's Hall last evening, Bro. J. Harlen, A.D., presiding. There was a large attendance of members and visitors^ The balance sheet showed a large increase in the funds and membership. Sick pay for the half yean amounted to £361, and doctors' accounts £280. The lodge has a membership of 664. The Sick and Funeral Fund has a credit balance of £5686. The election of officers resulted as follows : — Brfc. A. Lord, A.D. , Bro. W. Noot, V.A. ; Bro. G. Lachlan, treasurer (re-elected) ; Bro F. Jennings, secretary (re-elected) ; Bro. M'Elwain and Stuart, A.8.8.'5 ; Bro.'s Gillespie and Harlen, V.A.B.'s ; Bro. J. Waterworth, 1.G. ; • Bro. Johnston, P.D., G. Lodge Rep. ; Bro. King, organist; Bro. Haughton, O.G. ; B-ro. J. Harlen, J P. A. ; Bro. Smyth, M.S. The ordinary meeting of Court Loyal Northland, No. 8781, A.0.F., was held at Northland on Monday evening. Nominations for officers for the ensuing term were made. The election takes placo next week.
