[By Teleqeaph.-— SrfeciAX to The Post.] WAIHI, This Day. The crosscut which intersected the Empire Beef at the 1000 ft in the Waihi Mine or. Thursday last had penetrated from eleven to twelve feet of quartz before the influx of water necessitated a temporary stoppage of operations, and a full face of quartz was then showing with no indications of the wall coming to hand.
