Lieutenant Graetz has arrived at Johanesburg, after motoring from Dar-es-Salaam, 3700 miles. He proceeds £0 Swakopmnnd, another 2000 miles. Dar-es-Salaam is the chief port in German East Africa. The greater part of the continent between this place and the Transvaal has not been explored.
