At the Stipendiary Magistrate's Court yesterday, Henry Lorrigan, for thereof leggings valued at 27sr, was sentenced to seven days' imprisonment. Len Hadfield, for riding a bicycle at night without lights, was fined 25, / with costs (7s). Lynn M'Kelvie, on two charges of driving a motor-car at an excessive speed, ' was fined £3 on each charge. Boolcmakers, for wilfully trespassing on the Otaki racecourse, were fined as follow :—lsaacs,: — Isaacs, two charges, £20 on each charge ; Garrity, £20 ; Stellin, £20; Radcliffe, £10; Parkes, £10; Gray, £10. Costs, £2 6s, were allowed in each case. Joe Hakaraia, for using obscene language, was fined £1 and costs. Alf. Young, on charges of assault, obscene language, and disorderly behaviour, wa,s fined £1 on the two latter charges and convicted on the first. John Richards, for threatening behaviour, was fined £1, with costs (12s).
