Bedford has> consented to deliver addresses on the No-Licenso question at the most important centres throughout this electorate, opening in Masterton on Saturday evening. The Rev. Whitehouse, from Ashburton, addressed a large meeting in the Town Hall last evening, maintaining that NoLicense had proved a signal success in the southern electorate. Mr. C. F. Hill, local stationmasler, nas received notice of his transfer to Hawara It is understood that one oi" the largest freezingi companies in the Dominion intends sending a representative to this district to make enquiries into the movement now on foot to establish freezing works here. A Maurice-ville farmer reported to the police last evening that forty head of cattie are missing from his property at Mount Bruce.
