Williams (secretary)^ It was decided that, owing to the; position of the leading teams in the senior league fixtures, it was impossible to hold a trial match. It was also resolved to send a team of 13 players to Dunedin. A letter was received from Mr. F. S. Spilman, of Wanganui, stating that an - association of five teams had been formed there, and asking for a visit from a Wellington team before the season closes. Mr. R. M'Guire, secretary of the Hawkes Bay Football Association, wrote asking 'for a Wellington team to be sent to pUiy in Napier on a Wednesday. 1 It was decided to ask the senior selector to select an eleven to visit Napier, and to play in Masterton on the return trip. A protest was received from the Newtown Congregational Club, against the win of Ramblers, junior league third division, last Saturday, on the ground that two Ramblers' players were over the age. Two points were deducted from Ramblers' championship -total. Mr. G. W. Adair, of the V.M.C.A., wrote, presenting a cup for competition as a junior league third division challenge cup.
