DEEP LEVEL DEVELOPMENT. [BT TBLEGBAPH. — TSZB9 ASSOCIATION.] THAMES, This Day. At a meeting of representatives of Thames mining companies and managers, the question of deep level development was again considered, and considerable enthusiasm shown. The meeting was unanimous in the opinion that the crosscut at the one thousand feet level would probably open up new goldfields for the Thames district. It is estimated that the cost of tho work will be twenty thousand pounds. It is confidently anticipated that a substantial Government subsidy will be forthcoming. Such work would open up the low levels of seven district mining properties, all of -which have yielded large quantities of gold in tho top levels. ____«__«»»»«»■__
