The return match between the New Zealand team of professional footballers and the representatives of Queensland took place to-day on the Exhibition Ground. The game ended in a draw, each side scoring twelve points. The weather was fine, but dull. There was a moderate attendance of spectators. The New Zealanders played only twelve men, as Tyler and Byrne arc suffering from influenza, and Dunning is suffering fronva severe strain. ' Queensland won the toss, and O'Brien kicked off. Lile fumbled, and Messenger nearly scored. Scrums apsued, without advantage to either side. The New Zealanders were penalised at nearly halfway, and Messenger kicked a goal. verted a penalty. Shortly afterwards H. Wynyard kicked a goal from the field. At half-time the score was — New Zealand 4, Queensland 2. In tho secoiid spell R. Wynyard and Lile scored tries, one of which was converted by Wrigley. 'Messenger kicked two goals from the field and scored a try. Watson also got one try. Time was called with the scores 12 all.
