MEMBERSHIP CAMPAIGN.
A large meeting of V.M.C.A. members was held in the Concert Hall of the new building last evening to discuss proposals tor the coming membership campaign. >Ir. O. S. Falconer presided, and Mr. J. G. W. Aitken was also present.
It was decided to open the campaign next Monday and continue it until 6th June. Mr. C. E. Dowland was elected chaplain of the Red team, and Mr. H. Osborne captain of the Blue force. The members of both teams will meet- at tea on Monday next, when tactics will be discussed. Each team will endeavour to obtain 500 members, and the losers will entertain the winners on Bth June. A "baiometer" will be placed outside the building to show the progress of the fn.mna.ipn day. by. dtlYj..
