BLACKBALL MINE TROUBLE. DECISION ON A RECENT PROSECUTION.
MATTERS QUIET. • EBT TELBGRAPH — PBKSS ASSOPUTtON.I GREYMOUTH, This Day. Warden Turton gave his reserved decision this morning in the case in which two Blackball miners were charged with refusing to resume work at the conclusion of fifteen minutes' crib time, claiming that they were entitled to half an hour. The warden held that he had jurisdiction in the matter and fined the men 5s and costs. Matters at Blackball are quiet. The union meeting was being held this morning.
