The weather was fine yesterday for • training operations on the racecourse, but nothing of any importance was ■ done, the horses being restricted to plough work." This morning the weather was again fine, and there was a fair crowd of spectators. Master Delaval and Dear Dolly galloped seven furlongs in lmin 32sec, the former being slightly in front at the finish. Cachuca jumped six hurdles in nice style. Irish Rifle went a couple of rounds at half-pace, Somali did good strong work over two rounds, Xavier spurted over the last four furlongs of two circuits, Te Kuiti went well during the last round of a double circuit, and Mahoe, Belario, Chasemab, Anemone, Cassiopea, Moose, Mulga Bill, Miss Vera, and several others did serviceable work.
