NATIONAL TESTIMONIAL TO NOBLE.
SYDNEY, 29th February. A proposal has been mooted to present Noble with a national testimonial in recognition of his fine individual" play and exceptional skill in captaining the Australians in the Test Matches. Subscriptions have been already started at Sydney and Melbourne.
A Press Association telegram from Now Plymouth stotcß that, in connection with the Bands Contest, . corrected figures show that Masterton scored 348 point* for the Besson Shield, not 380, and take «izth glace instead- of second.
