The largest estatj of any decayed person upon which stamp duty was paid during the 4nonti. of February was that of Henry Hammond, of Rangitikei, whoso estate was certified at £43,752; the next largest deceased estate in Wellington district was that of Catberino H. Kane, of £10,647. The largest in Canterbury was that of John 'Waller, £29,814; in Gisborne, that of Alex. M'Konzie, £15,984; and in Auckland, that of Sophia Hoffmann, £11,163.
