«. An interesting game for tho Edwin Feathers was concluded on the Nowtown Green last evening. Powell, one of the holders, was unable to play. The vacancy was filled by the inclusion of G. Prince, and the teams were: — Holders — Cant, H. Sexton, G. Prince, Nancarrow (skip) ; Challengers— Ramfeey, A. Pollock, Laughton, J. J. Roberts (skip). Eight heads wore played on Monday, the score then being holders 10 ; challengers 3. La&t evening the challengers kept their opponents under all the way, the final result being Challengers, Roberts (s). 19 ; Holders Nancarrow (s) 15. Two rinks from tho Maitai Bowling Club, Nelson, left homo last Friday on tour. Thoy are playing tho various clubs from Now Plymouth down, and will arrivo in Wellington this evening. To-morrow morniug they will moet the Victoria Club, who will be represented by: Fossette, Godber, Longton, John firackonridgc (skip) ; Mcnelaus, Townsend, Redstone, Snaddon (skip). In the afternoon they will play against Newtown, and on Saturday they will try conclusions with the Wellington Club in tho forenoon, and the Petone Club in tho afternoon. The following three junior rinks tho Victoria Club will journey to Petone on Saturday to play a friendly match : — H. Long7»ore, Redmond, Langdon, Gould (s) ; Broad, Butler, Fletcher, Evans (s) ; Bastings, Armit, M'Girr, A.
