[BT TELEGRAPH. — rilE33 ASSOCIATION.] TAIHAPE, This Day. At the inquest on Johns, who was killed in the Taihape tunnel, a verdict of accidental death was returned. WAIROA, This Day. Evidence ai> tho inquest on J Machin, who cut his throat at Lake Houso with a razor and pocket-knife, showed that deceased suffered intense pain, supposed to be from asthma, but really duo to angina pectoris. A verdict was returned that death was caused by a wound self-inflicted, while deceased was not respousiblo for hL actions owing to acute pain.
