RACECOURSE TRESPASSER. BREACH OF A PROHIBITION ORDER.
[bt rcr.EGP.Arn.— riiEsa association.] PAHTATUA, This Day. At a sitting of tho. S.EI. Court this morning before Mr. W. P. James, S.M., John Oarkeek, for trespassing on the Pahiatua racecourse on the second day of the recent race meeting and refusing to leave after being warned by Racecourse Detective Walden, was fined £10 and costs ; - in default of distress, three months' imprisonment. Defendant, who did not appear, had been convicted on two previous occasions — at Bulls and at Christchurch — for similar offences. For procuring liquor, whilst prohibited an offender was fined £10 and costs.
