The newspapers comment on tho roughness on both sides during the match at Cheltenham in which tho New Zealanders were engaged The Daily Express says : "For brutal tactics the game was a disgrace to professional football." The referee ordered one of the New Zeaianders off tho field ' for fighting, and separated another New Zealander and an opponent who were fighting. SMITH AND TODD ENGAGED BY CLUBS. LONDON, 17th February. G. W. Smith has joined the Oldham Club, and Todd has joined Wigan. ANOTHER MATCH. LONDON, 17th February. The New Zealanders will play a match at St. Helens on Saturday. THE SPOIL. EACH NEW ZEALANDER GETS £150 LONDON, 17th February. It is understood that each of the New Zealand player 3 receives £150 for the tour, in addition to hotel expenses, and an allowance of a pound a week.
