PROTESTANT ALLIANCE PROTEST. By Telegraph.— Preea Association Copyri&ht. (Received February 11, 8.50 a.m.) LONDON, 10th Febmary. In connection with the attendance 'of King Edward and Queen Alexandra at ,a requiem- mass for the late King Carlos and Prince Luiz of Portugal, the Protestant Alliance declares that the Sovereigns' presence thero was inconsistent with the King's position as head of 3 Protestant nation, and a violation of the spirit of the coronation and accession oaths. The Daily Telegraph and The Times protest against what they describe as petty religious intolerance.
