0 QUEEN OF THE SOUTH IN DIFFICULTIES. [Br Tjeiegbaph.-- Special to The Post.] PALMERSTON N., This Day. The steamer Queen of the South, from Wellington to Foxton, ran ashore at the mouth of the Manawatu River on Sunday morning. Sever.il attempts to tow h&r off have been unnuccessfuf, and the cargo is now being taken out. It is expected that she will be floated off at high tide to-day.
