Tho damages and costs in the action brought by Lori Ashtown against the county authoiitlea in connection with the bomb outrage at Glenabjra Lodge, Wejcford, amounted to" £500,. or a tax of a. shilling in the pound over the affected area. On 15th August of last year it was reported that a daring 'attempt had been made to wreck Glenabira Lodge, Lord Ashtown's shooting-seat, through tho ngency of gunpowder. Later Lord Ashtown claimed £200 from the county for malicious damage, and was awarded) £140.
