A CONFERENCE. fBT TELEGBAPH.—rKESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, This Day. delegates from the Auckland, Wellington, and Dunedin branches of the Stamen's Union meet in a conference of representatives of the New Zealand Shipowners at Wellington at the eDd of this month, in order to endeavour to arrange working leases to follow, on the present Arbitration award, which expires on bo^i April. Tho Hon. J. A. Millar, Minister for Customs, will probably be present.
