SCULLING CHAMPIONSHIP.

WEBB AND TRESSIDDER. PROPOSED ALLCOMERS' RACE. [By Telegkaph Special to Thb Post.] WANGANUI, This Day. It is again being suggested that an 'Allcomers' Handicap should b8 arranged to take place, here about the timo oi the Webb-Tresidder race. It is contended that with Arnst, Ford, Webb, and Tresjdder competing great interest .Tscutd ba taken iv the ovent. The work done on the river last evening and this morning, was unimportant. Tresidder got through his usual tasks on both occasions. Webb did not row last evening, but had a steady ftve-milo spin this morning. He is purposely taking things easy, as ho is as' fit as could be wished for. Ha will go up to his old camp at Kaiwhaiki on MondaVj and do the rest ot his training on the course. Tresidder will take up his quartern at the hotel a f Upokongaro on Tuesday. The notel is situated a little below the finish of tha course,- but, <ts the Australian wants plenty of work this will suit him.
