DUNEDIN, This Day. Mf, William Earnshaw, who has twice unsuccessfully contested the Caversbam. seat, will not be a candidate at the general election, as he intends paying a visit to the Old Country. Entries for the Dunedin A.A.C. spoits at the Caledonian Ground on the 15th inst. constituted a lecord for Otago. Henderson, Fisher, and Pollock (of Wellington) will compete- in tbe sprint events, Kerr in the one mile and two mile walks, and M'Kay in the field e\ snts. '
