GOVERNMENT ADVERTISING. Dr. Findlay, Attorney -Gen- ; oral, said to a Post representative loday : — "The Government believes that considering the largo sum which is be- , ing spent by this country in advertising, that the advertising should be systematically controlled by some department, and should proceed upon defined and regular lines. With thai view Ihe Government has decirt"<A to place under the control of one of Ihe existing departments of the public service the Gov-' eminent advertising of the Dominion. It is hoped that in this way considerable economy will be effected, and any possible dissatisfaction with the existing system be obviated."
