ST. JOHN AMBULANCE NURSING GUILD.
Mrs, S. A. Rhodes presided at the meeting of tho St. John Ambulance District Nursing Guild committee yesterday. The report showed that Nurses Sexton and Macandrew had made 1074 visits to the sick poor during December and January. The cases dealt with included peritonitis, pleurisy, I debility, influenza, nnd other ailments of a more or less serious character. Gifts of articles lor patients had been received by the nurses from Mesdames Reynolds, Wilson, Mantell, Greig, Grunsler, Watson, Erwin, Stevens, Croker, Kirk, Hoare, Bray, Adams, Isitt, Cunliffe, Wall is, Hunter, Tripe, Chappie, Gray, Atkin, Crease, Gear Co., and Mr. M'Kenzic. Additional; subscriptions were acknowledged from' Mesdames Kendall, £1 Is ; E. J. Crawford, 10s; lan Duncan, ss; F. G. Castle, ss; Gibb, ss; C. A. Crawford, £2 2s; G. E. Tolhurst, 10s 6d ; J. Roberts and Sim 6, 10s ; Bing, Harris, and Co., £1 Is A .W. and F. C. Brailsford, 10s 6d ; Colonial Carrying Co., 10s 6d; Clark, ss; G. R.
