A' shooting case is reported from Lautoka, Fiji, whore a native girl named' , Mary, omploycd as nurse by Mrs. ~Slgcham, was found dead in her bedroom with a bullet wound through the heart. \ Mr. Mecham heard a report, from the , bedroom, and on going to enquiro the ■ reason, found the girl dead, with two Indian servants standing by. They said | that, hearing the shot, they had rushed L there from the kitchen. It is thought , that the girl miw.t have been handling a ' revolver when it exploded.
