WONDERLAND. "Wonderland" still continue* a sourcs of attraction to the public, and further novelties are announced. A free Punch and Judy Show has been arranged for tomorrow afternoon, and in the evening there will be a grand fancy dress and* poster carnival. Prizes of from £1 to £5 will be given for. the most effective post/or, the best fancy dress, and tho most comic dress. Diriscoll and Liiella. will again go through the comic trapeze turn, and the "Swing Song" will be repeßted. FULLER'S ENTERTAINERS. This week's bill of fare at the Theatre Royal is generous and varied, and the house is full nightly. The chief feitures arc the marvellous coin manipulation by Mr. Allan Shiw and the wire-walking and snapshooting of the loleens. Other pleasant 't"-ns" aro the sketch, "Tho Lighthouse yepsr's Daughter/ by Misa Ida Chester and Mr. .Harry Salmon, the singing of Miss Blanche Carelli, the funniosities of Tod Galloway; but all the- items are good, and' the 'programme is of more than average merit. THE PERRY PICTURES. Anolher picture show is in the fieldnamely, Perry's; but this differs from others in some icspects, and chiefly in having the pictorial items sandwiched ! m between vaudeville turns. Tho picture part of- the programme is certainly very fine— clear, steady pictures and well -chosen and essentially popular subjects. Tho humorous and the pathetic are placedin nice juxtaposition, and the "fake" pictures are judiciously blended with those taken from everyday life. The opening picture, "The poor old couple," for example, was extremely pathetic. This was quickly followed by "Down on the Farm," followed with 'n. merry chase scene in which a bevy of laughing girls drove the farmer into i duck pond and pelted him with pippins. "The sea-bird egg gatherers of Flamborough Head" followed, and ii proved to bo a thrilling picture — certainly 'one of the best of a remarkably fine series. Miss Annette Kellermann was shown giving an exhibition- of cwimming and diving, and some fine geyser pictures were exhibited, one of ths now quiescent Waimangu geyser being warmly applauded. "Saving the colours" was an episode ' (arranged for " the ■ oc- . casion) of tha Franco-German war. "A Fiji Firewalking" series wao also shown, aud was much ,-vppreciated. "Stealing Tomatoes," "The Wrong Chimney," and "Serving a Summons," wero among ths successful comic. items. Little Leah, a talented child vocalist, gave a couple of songs, and was several times recalled. Mr. Stair. Chester^ a clover comedian, sang two songs, "I Can't Make it Out :i ; and -"The Galloping Major," both of which items wojie well received. Athos, described as the "Skatorical King," gave a marvellous exhibition of roller skating, and finished up by vaulting over ten chairs at once. Miss Eva Brady sang illustrated songs and proved to the satisfaction of tho audience Lhat she is the possesser of a -strong, sweet voice. Perry's Pictures will again be exhibited at tho Opera House this evening. "BREWSTER'S MILLIONS.", Ono of the marked features of the new comedy, "Brewster's Millions,"- to be produced by Mr. J. C: Williamson"!? company at the Opera House on Thursday n?xt, is said to be the novel mechanical and electric effects in connection with tho yacht scene in the third >pU They are claimed to bo equal b6 anything hitherto' attempted . by theatrical managers in Australasia. Speaking of ' tho scene, a Sydney contemporary says:— "When' the "storm shook things up^h tho yacht, yen forigot.yon wara m ■ h thpaito. watching a porfonnance. Tho proscenium disappeared, the wings iad^ed from view, and you fancied you were on th,o water and amid the waves. So cleierly .was the sceno managed that the ynjole, stage seemed to make up &nd down with the motion of the angry sea.- No wonder the audience went beyond the ordinary bounds of playhc/u&e enthusiasm in the 'roaring' recption of this scene." Mr. Williamson has made some important /engagements for the cast of "Brewster 8 Millions," headed by •» Mr. Thomas Kingston, ns the young New Yorker, Monty Brewster, whose task of spending a quarter -of a million in a year proves almost too much for him. Mrs.. Robert Brough will represent Mrs. Diui De Mille, a society leader. The box plan, for the seven nights season are jiow Open at the Dresden. HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE., , The exhibition of the Royal Pictures at His Majesty's Theatre continues to b? well patronised. The new ssries of films is attractive. Tho pietui2.s are interesting and • are clenrly shown, incidental mechanical effects and dialogue* helping to make ths scenes mors realistic Tho first Limerick competition waft held last night, and proved very interesting. Another successful open-air -meeting was held at the Lowor Hutt by the'Nolicense League on Saturday. Thfe speakers were Messrs.' W. Sussex,' J. Delahnnty, House, and Townsend. . All th» • speakers were accorded 1 a good l hearing, and several questions were answered.
