ARRANGEMENTS AT GOVERNMENT HOUSE. [Bt Telegraph. — Special to Thb Post.J AUCKLAND, This Day. In the course of qonveisaiion with a Star representative, Sir Joseph Ward remarked that the whole of tho plans had been prepared for altering Government Hous,e, Wellington, to accommodate members for next session of Parliament. •"I see by the plans," said tho Premier, "■that provision is made for members of the House of Representatives in what was the largo ballroom^ and for the members of the Legislative Council in the di airing-room. Provision is ma do for Hansard and a Press Gallsry, and. a gallery for** ithe membeis of tho Upper Houss. Where the Legislative Council will hold its sittings provision is made for the Hansard and tha press, while Bellamy's will be located in fhe old <iiniiig <>nd supper room of Government House. Thoy have also provided rooms for th© accommodation of the Speaker/ the clerks of both Houses, private secretaries, sergeant-at-arms ; Hansard, and a, press room, and one for the superintendent of Hansard. There is also a Cabinet room for the GoveTnment, and it seems to me, generally speaking, that tha alterations will give the accommodation required for both branches of the Legislature."
