The Imperial party in lh:> Reichstag is requesting the Government to modify the penal code, in order to provide for transportation to the German colonies in the Pacific long-sentencod criminals who are physically and mentally adapted for removal. The German possessions in the Pacific comprise parts of New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, the Caroline Islands, and Samoa, thp Bismarck Archipelago (formerly New Britain), and the, MursLall Islands.
