RHONDDA COAL STRIKE.
TRIFLING AMOUNT IN DISPUTE. A WAY OUT SUGGESTED. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. SYDNEY, 30th January. The Rhondda dispute is over a matte* of twelve shillings claimed by a single miner. On the question of paying this amount the possibility of a general strike rested. The Special Court suggested that the owners should pay the amount into coui't, pending a decision. The owners accepted the suggestion. , The court is now awaiting the men's acceptance of the proposal.
