At ths bponing of Parliament by the King yesterday the weather was fine, with brilliant sunshine. As tho Royal coach was emerging from Buckingham, Palace a member of the Women** Freedom League, holding a petition, darted forward, but a policeman bustled her bach. Other members carried banners inscribed "Votes for Women." One woman was mobbed, and had her coat and hat destroyed. Tho banners were stripped to shreds. The officials in the House of Lords noticed a gentleman dressed in scarlet and ermine waled among tho first to arrive. When challenged he produced a document, describing himself as Loi'd I de Morley; but he was escorted out ! before tho Royal procession came. It is understood that he is the claimant to the peerage. Tho sceno in the House of Lords was improssive. Tho Prince and Princess of Wales were present.
