For some months past the "bears" have nad it all their own way with Broken Hill shares. Yesterday a revulsion set in on the Commonwealth Exchanges, and there was somothing like a panic in the rush to secure scrip, which had been heavily oversold.. Prices fluctuated violently. Tho ct>pital value of eight Broken Hill mines advanced in tho aggregate over J8600.C00. Tho Proprietary mine alono was appraised at over a quarter of a million advance on Wednesday's value.
