Referring to the. proposal to improve tho Okarito harbour an exchange states that aa the cost of making a good harbour is not exceilsive, every endeavour should be used to get, the Government to vote a. substantial sum of money for this harbour improvement. Given a good port several eawinille could 1 start operations, while the number of flaxmills would increase. Butter and cheese factories would be erected and property all over tho district must become valuable.
