DANIEL, FROM SYDNEY.
The barque Daniel, from Clarence River, laden, with timber, arrived in the stream yesterday. The vessel has been trying to effect an entrance sinoo Saturday evening, and tit that time the Duco went out to give towage, birF on account of haze the barque couldn't distinguish the tug. Unfavourable light winds have presented the vessel making the. heads until yesterday, when, the Duco again went out, and this time met with euoceps. The barque set ea-il from the Australian coast on the 9th inst., and on tlfe passage across mixed weather was encountered. A caigo consisting ol about 240,000 feet of timber is to bo discharged at thia port.
