ENTERTAINMENTS. POLLARD'S JUVENILE OPERA COMPANY.
The last nights of this company's season in Wellington are approaching. Yesterday evening "The Isle of Bong Bong" waa played again to a good audience that gave every token, of enjoynie"nt. Mr. Harry Quenly put good work into his part of the Philippine patriot. Miss Minnio Topping looked and sang charmingly Master Bert Nicholson was especially effective. Other young ladies and gentlemen helped vigorously in Ihe business of entertainment. A matineo will be given on Saturday afternoon, and on Saturday night the gay company bidb good-bye. ROYAL PICIURES. The Royal Pictures which are on exhibition at His Majesty's Theatre continue to attract large audiences, who are well entertained with the programme pbced before them. The pictures will be shown again to-night. FULLER'S ENTERTAINERS. The Theatre Royal was again crowded last night, when an excellent vaudeville programme was keenly appreciatatl. The "lolccns" made their nirsppeantiice in a wire-walking and sharpshooting act, and were accorded 1 a cordial reception. Salmon and Chester kept ths audience amused with their comedy sketch, "Matrimonial Differences." Mr. A. L. Cropp and Madame Blanche Carelli were in excellent voice, and their singing of the duet, "Sweet Birds," received an vndeniabie encore. Miss Nelly Power in her serio turn was also popular, whilst Messis. Lloyd and Calloway were called upon to repeat their efforts. The programme will b& repeated to-night. Mr. J. C. Williamson's touring represcntafcivo.'Mr. George Matheson, arrived in Wellington yesterday to make arrangements for the prcfdiiction of the comedy, "Brewster's Millions," at the Opera House next month.
