SEISMOGRAPHIC RECORDS. By Telegraph.— Prew Association.— Copyright. SYUNETT, 19th December. Tho seismograph cat the Observatory recorded severe earth tremors at 3.43 a.m. on Monday. The severest part of the shake occurred at 3.52 a.m., and the maximum altitude of the greatest phase was 15.6 millimotres (six-tenths of an inch). The record appeared to be made up of three distinct shocks, occurring within a. few minutes of each other.
