RHODES SCHOLARS.

THE WELLINGTON CANDIDATE. Mr. Gilbcit V. Bogie has been chosen by the Professorial Board of Victoria College as the Wellington candidate for tho Rhodes Scholarship. Mr. Bogle is a native of Waipukurau, Hawke? Bay. After winning an Education. .BomTa scholarship, he continued his studies at the Napior High School, and later on passed the Junior Civil Seivice examination, and joined the Audit Department as a cadet. While he was in the Civil Service he studied at Victoria College, and subsequently joined- the teaching staff Qf the Napier High School. In 1905 he obtained a place on the 6taff of the Wellington College, which he etill retains. As an athlete Mr. Bogle is well known He has played in representative football, and his namo has also been associated with hockey, cricket, taunis, rowing, and kindred sports. THE DUNEDIN CANDIDATE. The Dunedin candidate this year will be Mr. Colin Gilray, eon of ProfesEor Gilrayj of the Otago University. Mr, GiLray is said to bo a particularly bright student, while his athletic achievements particularly in tho football field, are well known.
