Bright weather prevails for the opening of the Wellington Racing Club's Spring Meeting, which is being held at Trentham to-day, but there is a breeze prevailing that seems likely to increase in strength as the day progresses. At 'noon there was a large muster of the public, and the lawn was bright with many gay dresses.
