HARBOUR APPOINTMENTS.
[BY TBLEGBAPH. — PBESS ASSOCIATION.) TIMARU, This Day. The Timaru Harbour Board to-day appointed Mr. J. H. Knowles, of Wellington, engineer to the dredge Timaru, at a salary of £20 per month. There were 33 applications. Mr. E. Crow, of Lyttelton, was selected from 15 applicants for the position of draughtsman at a salary of £3 per week.
