The mission services that are being conducted by the Rev. Lockhart Morton at the Baptist Church, Vivian-slreet, are well attended. The address last night was on "Attractive People," and was listened to with keen interest. A large number stopped to the after meeting. Mr. Pargetter sang "vVouldst Thon Believe." The subject to-night ie "Wrongly Dressed People." Prior to tne services short prayer meetings are held at 7 j o'clock, when all Christians are invited to attend. Mr. Pargetter will sing again to- j night. j The issue of the Weekly Press of 20th June will be a Seddon memorial number, in which the history, career, and incidents of his public life are told as graphically as is possible by the newspaper engraving process. Given away with the number is a new page memorial portrait, an ex* cellent likeness of the late statesman. This number will be enclosed in a special pictorial covei The shops of A. Lindsay, Ltd., will rema : n open all day to-morrow, and will close on Thursday afternoon. Messrs.
