[DV TKLEUEAPH. — PIIESS ASSOCIATION. { WTSTPORT, This Day. H. Street, a fireman on the steamer Moura, fell into the Buller river when going aboard at 8.20 o'clock this morning, and was drowned. AUCKLAND, 7th June. The jockey Samuel Fergus, who met with an accident at Ellerslie in the Hurdle Race last Monday, died tonight. Deceased leaves a wife and four children. A subscription list has been well responded to. Fergus was 37 years of age.
