FOREIGN EMIGRANTS.
A HUNGARIAN WARNING. (."PRESS ISSOCIATION.I BUDA PESTH, 6th June. The Budapester Korrespondenz, the official newspaper, warns Hungarians against emigrating to Queensland. It says that Europeans can scarcely endure the climate ; besides, there is the danger of European recruit 3 sinking into a stale of absolute slavery, like the Chinese and Kanakas, whom they are j replacing. Emigrants are also warned ji gainst Canada. (Received June 7, 9.37 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. The Budapesth cable message is supposed to refer to a recent scheme for the settlement of a large number of Aus-tro-Hungarian agiicultunsts in Queensland, conducted with the Government by a Hungarian resident, Mr. Mackay, who piloted a small company of emigrants here. The Inrger scheme did not mature.
