LOSS OF A SHIP.
OUTBREAK OF FIRE. [mLdS .ASSOCIATION.] SYDNEY, 10th August. Tlio American ship Roanoke, which was* loading chrome at Nchoue, und had got threo thousand tons aboaid, caught fire lost night. The vessel is still burning. The crow' took refuge aboard another vessel. NOUMEA, 10th August. ■ The cargo of the Roanoko burned out, fltid the vessel sink, a total loss, in 40ft of water.
