REPRESENTATIVE TRIAL MATCH. The following players tiave been selected to take part in a trial match at Day's Bay to-morrow afternoon in view of the rep. match to be played against Canterbury, on the 19bh August: — A team : Full-backs, Ashbolt, C. Hickson, Pearson; halves, Reid, Campbell, Weyboucne; forwards, Allan, Elliott, Hickson, Hull, Smythe. B team : Full-backs, Staples, Bfeere, Preston; halves. Smith, Skelly, Smyfcno; forwards, Hollis, Putnam, Pope, G. Davics, Donovan. The A team will wear tho representative jeriieys, and the B team white jerseys.
