Little trouble, however, need be apprehended on that score. The above comments are' based on the statement made by Sb JosepL Ward al Winton, on Tuesday. Tn effect Sir Joseph said he hoped with the •co-operation of the Federal Government to see wireless telegraphy established across the Tasman Sea -within twelve months. A station would be at the southern end of the South Island, and there would probably be a transmitting station at Lord Howo Island. The cost would be about £28,000.
