A boy aged fifteen years named William Burnand, son of Walter Burnand, a resident, of Greenlane, was killed wliile ascending in a goods elevator at the Herald printing works, the use of which is prohibited as a passenger lift. The boy's head v/a.% caught between the cross beam and the elevator, and his neck broken. . Death won instantfuwoiw.
